Zimbabwe, Harare based musical artist Poptain real name Ameen Jaleel Matanaga is one of the next generation Zimbabwean set artists coming up into the music space. Having grown up in quite a disruptive environment moving from home to home, Poptain’s music is a reflection of the struggles and victories he has gone through- his lyrical richness with smooth melodic sounds create something the industry has need for the last few years. Although starting his career as a Zimdancehall artist his new music explores other genres describing his kind of music as Dancehall-fusion/Reggae-Fusion.
